Grouse Mountain Gems by Shelby Dixon

Handmade, from the earth. Ethically sourced jewelry, crystals, wire-wrapping, and lapidary creations born of the Selkirk Mountains and the Columbia River. Each piece is one of a kind — when it’s gone, it’s gone. Crafted in Stevens County, WA.

Agate Fluorite Jasper Moonstone Quartz

Mission

Honor the land by working with stones as they arrive: imperfect, storied, and strong. Each setting is designed to celebrate the natural geometry embedded in Agate, Fluorite, Jasper, Moonstone, and other regional finds — jewelry that feels grounded, wearable, and true.

Ethos

Source thoughtfully; shape carefully; waste nothing. Metals are selected for longevity, stones are locally and responsibly gathered whenever possible, and finishes are kept clean to let the material speak. The goal is durability without excess — pieces meant to be lived in.

Design Process

It starts riverside or trailside: a glint in gravel, a pattern tucked inside basalt. After cutting and polishing in the studio, each stone is nestled in its wire-wrap, bezel, or prong setting.
